Building this site has given me both a platform for looking at all things in Web technology, and an opportunity to start CSS based design and customising CMS’s (which in this case is the ever-popular open-source blogging platform, WordPress). It still needs a few fixes, but they should be completed shortly.

Mobile Web. Internet, un-hindered, on a mobile device, with an interface that enables everything you can do on a desktop/laptop. This one is a tipping point; just think of all the questions that you hear out & about that could be answered with a Google search, if only it wasn’t so difficult to do- Left alone with your cell phone, you can still socialize
Social Networking Technology. Probably the most significant of all the Web 2.0 entities. Research suggests a person can only maintain 150 meaningful social connections, not that it’s slowing the number of social network start-ups-

Audio / Visual / Interactive. Will we always use the mouse/keyboard combo, or will better interfaces provide new forms of interaction with the Web? This one has received a lot of attention; Jeff Han on TED Talks
