I'm a little jaded when it comes to rural Internet connectivity (be it wired or wireless). This has no doubt been aggravated by a recent relocation from a University house with a 20mb connection, to a house in Stratford-Upon-Avon with a 1mb connection! Thanks Mark. I did a whole bunch of flickr / blog posts about Mog007 (the national Morgan car rally at Goodwood in August) from beside the track... using the T-Mobile wireless signal. The track is in round terms "in the middle of nowhere". OK, compared to what I'd have done in the office, I had to downsize the photos to get them up to Flickr... but overall the experience was surprisingly usable. I would, however, add "5 - battery life" to your list of reasons why the photo isn't entirely appropriate. I agree with points 2, 3 and 4, however, point 1 is definitely changing.
