I'm starting a graphic design course at college in September and want to have mastered the feel of it by then. After several trips with an out-of-juice MacBook Pro battery on trains without plug sockets, I've been considering gettng hold of a backup battery for the carry case. I know several other people who do the same thing for their laptops, so I can see this being a little bit of a stinker for the MB Air. Matt, love the Gravatar!

I like the idea that it's thinner than a really thin person being really thin but unless it had an Ethernet port, a CD/DVD drive and a replaceable battery, I wouldn't be able to justify spending my hard earned on it.
